ART x CHAIR OWN IT!

Àdùnní (meaning ‘daughter of the sweet one’ in  Yoruba), is a celebration of African Modernism and to compliment the outlook and celebrate this Art piece. Our cultural excellence aligned with the works of the multi-talented, miss Kedike @chidinmaekile who was our muse for the shoot. This piece of Art is proudly Nigerian hence why the chair’s frame is made from Nigerian teak wood and is upholstered in two styles of the indigenous Yoruba textile Asò-oké. The first solo photo-exhibition of celebrity photographer Emmanuel Oyeleke held last weekend on 14th -16th May at the Emmanuel Oyeleke Photography Studios. The exhibition was Emmanuel Oyeleke’s first full career retrospective, chronicling his success as a visual and creative artist in 5years. The Photo-exhibition tagged ‘REVEALED’ was a 3-day event that opened with a private viewing of travel, beauty, and fashion portraits; a fun day of cocktails, photography and selfies.
