FRETLESS

Beca Donald Knott is Fretless. EOPJOURNALS. Easy and stressless edit featuring @beca_donald_knott in her beautiful freckled skin and majestic mane under a glorious Accra weather. I had such fun time shooting this gorgeous edit armed with just a camera, 50mm lens and a reflector. Shot around the Iconic Freedom square in Accra, I couldn’t help but wonder how much creativity would grow all around Africa if creatives are just allowed to access and given freedom to express themselves without fear of being harassed in public spaces or prejudice of being an African creative. Weight of the World.

“The weight of the sky dropped onto Atlas’s back, almost smashing him flat until he managed to get to his knees, struggling to get out from under the crushing weight of the sky. But it was too late. “Noooooo!” He bellowed so hard it shook the mountain.  “Not again!” Atlas was trapped under his old burden.”  What are you holding on to? What’s that burden slowing you down? There’s always going to be burdens in the world but this much I can tell you; don’t hold on to the weight of the world!!! Featuring @jazzyogaga and @ogagus.

Amongst my list to do was make amazing portraits/lifestyle photos while in Egypt. The plan was destined to fail as no one was really willing to help me bring my vision to life until I …

I’ve been in Egypt for a bit now documenting the Africa Cup of Nations AFCON Egypt 2019 for Pan-African Sports Agency. It’s been really hectic but yesterday, I decided to go out and explore after all, It would be a shame if I came all the way to Egypt and I do not see one of the wonders of this world. I’ll love to tell you about my experience, location, transportation, getting into the pyramids, getting around, experience with the locals, expectations and interaction with other tourists, but for now, enjoy my experience vicariously through these photos:

THE HUEMANIST
